Steven Battelle – Life Is Company Me Is A Crowd

Following hot on the heels of his debut solo album released right at the end of 2016, former frontman of LostAlone, Steven Battelle has a new four track EP.

The Life Is Company Me Is A Crowd EP was released last friday (30 June 2017) on Suffer For My Art records.

Production standards are high, with Freddie Mercury-esque multi-layered harmonies drenched upon every chorus. That said, the EP has more of a back to basics rock feel than than much of the long player, with fuzz-pedalled blues riffs and glam-rock like drums that are clearly cheeky nods to Ziggy Stardust-era Bowie and the likes of The Sweet.

The EP follows the release of album Exit Brain Left in December last year, an ambitious and imaginative album pushing away from the rock sound at its core and taking inspiration from more than music.

The Life Is Company Me Is A Crowd EP is available now on CD, digital download and streamable from all the usual places.
