Dionysus, the Derby Festival of Psychedelia, has announced the line up for its 2018 event which takes place on Saturday 29 September.
Held at the Polish Club on Kedleston Road the one-day festival brings together bands of a psychedelic sound and is now in its third year.
Many of the bands on the line-up have played in previous years, including Goddesses who released their debut album in 2016. The self-titled record was one which we described as, “a sweet sonic trip of experimental and lovingly layered psychedelic shoegaze” (hear a track from the band on our Nothing Ever Happens Here Spotify playlist of Derby bands past and present).
The Telephones meanwhile have most recently released a cover track for a charity compilation, taking their own psych slant on a classic nursery rhyme for a Mono Dodo Records album with proceeds to Save The Children.
Tickets for the event are on sale now priced £12 and available here.
