Derby musician Paul Miro has announced his latest solo album Sinombré Vol II: Broken Angels will be released exclusively through his own website on 2 July 2018.
The release follows on from Sinombré Vol I: All Hope Is Gone, which was released in 2016. Writing on Facebook yesterday (22 March 2018) he said, “I am delighted and excited to announce that my album, Sinombré Vol II: Broken Angels will be released in CD format on Monday 2 July.
“After much deliberation and weighing up of options, the decision has been made to release it exclusively via my web store.
You will be able to pre-order your CDs well in advance of that date, and there will also be a number of time-sensitive exclusives, such as ‘pledging’ to get your name on the album thanks list, free pdf lyric booklet for those who pre-order, and other limited number items.”
Taking a DIY approach to both the release and the promotion he added he hoped fans would get behind him and share posts and news about the album through Facebook, recognising a ‘team effort’ would be needed and anything they could do to get word out would be ‘super helpful’. He added, “I thank you in advance for your support, and look forward to another fantastic journey…”
With Apes, Pigs and Spacemen Miro was among those making waves on the alt rock scene of the ’90s and he has since carved a career as a composer for film and television, producer and as a solo musician. A prolific songwriter Sinombré Vol II: Broken Angels follows on from the concept explored in the first album, a dystopian world where man’s greed has led to societal collapse.
Pre-orders for Sinombré Vol II will soon be available through Miro’s own web store which can be found here.
