Indietracks has announced more bands onto its 2018 line up including Amber Arcades, Gwenno and Derby’s Mighty Kids.
Taking place at Midland Railway Centre in Ripley over the last weekend in July the festival has already announced British Sea Power, Honeyblood, The Lovely Eggs, Dream Wife, Girl Ray, Sacred Paws, Darren Hayman, Even As We Speak and Anna Burch.
The announcement brings together one of the most diverse line-ups on the festival circuit this year (or generally) and shows bigger players and boutiques festivals alike that its possible to have a diverse bill reflective of the broad range of artists making music not just in indiepop but across genres.
Among the new batch of bands announced are Amber Arcades, Gwenno, Spinning Coin, Tigercats, Colour Me Wednesday and Tinsel Heart as well as Linda Guilala, Best Praxis, Ex-Vöid, Sugar Rush!, Mighty Kids, Happy Spendy, Worst Place, Marlaena Moore, Tim the Mute, Navina, Rafa Skam and All Ashore!.
Completing the line up are Haiku Salut, Onsind, The Smittens, Anna Burch, Boyracer, Night Flowers and Eureka California, Happy Accidents, Let’s Whisper, Wolf Girl, Just Blankets, Dream Nails, Mikey Collins, Sink Ya Teeth, Tugboat Captain, The Baby Seals, Life Model, Cat Apostrophe, Strange New Places, Melenas, Panic Pocket, French Boutik, Ghum, Rebecka Reinhard, Tekla, Whitelands and The Sunset Beach Hut.
Held 27 to 29 July 2018 and now in its 11th year the festival remains true to itself and the scene it attracts while being a true ‘celebration of independent, creative and DIY pop music’. One of our favourite festivals year after year we’re already looking forward to hopping aboard and seeing some truly amazing artists at a beautifully friendly and fun festival.
