DPP Festival has announced the first bands across its two-day 2019 line-up. The festival is set to return to the Sitwell Tavern for a third year next January.
Headlining the first day of the festival – Friday 4 January 2019 – will be RISCAS. The Birmingham indie pop quartet have amassed over 2,500,000 Spotify streams, playing sold out shows across the country in recent months and receiving backing from BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing and Spotify UK. With the release of their first EP imminent, an impressive set is expected from a band on the rise.
Joining them across the two-days will be Courts, Shanghai Blues, ASHFIELDS, Arcade Hearts, Hows Harry, Dani Janie and Hunger Moon.
DPP Festival 2019, this year in association with Closeup Promotions and HeyHoney, follows on from successful events in the previous two years, which have seen JUDAS, No Hot Ashes, The Wholls, and Carnival Club take to the stage.
The Saturday night (5 January) headliner is still to be announced and will be joined by six more acts across the weekend.
